SPirit    School Pride
Simple idea for advertising your next dress up day.  Have each of your leadership students wear a sign similar to this one around school all day a couple of days before the event.  Punch holes in the corners and use cardstock paper for durability.  Use yarn or ribbon to hang the sign.  Simple clipart from Word or other programs works the best.
If your school allows a Battle of the Sexes week than you are in for some great activities.  If you are trying to convince your administration its okay to do one then use the following outline to illustrate exactly what activities you  want to do for the spirit week.
A great and easy way to get teachers and students involved in a theme week or big spirit activity is to have a door decorating contest.  There are many different ways to do this, but the most important part of the process is to have a good way to judge the competition and have as many winners in different categories as possible.

Spirit Run Arounds are a great way to get the word out about upcoming events.  Break your leadership into groups of 2 -3 students and have them make 3 minute mini presentations to each class (homeroom) during a particular period.  This gives students a chance to ask questions and gives your student leaders the chance to answer and give feedback to you from the student body.
