A simple way to recognize the achievements of African Americans during Black History Month (February) is to include quotes during the daily announcements or on the school’s website.

Master Calendar.pdfIf you’re brand new to running an activities program one of the first things you need to do is find out who at your school is in charge of the master calendar.  It is usually the office manager or principal’s secretary, but you might find out it’s you!  Get a copy of the previous year’s calendar and use this handy guide to get started.
