Football Games
SPirit School Pride
If you just found out that your duties include being in charge of the football games at your school it is important to make sure the timing at the beginning goes well.  You need to coordinate who will be on the field and when.  You don’t want the football team running out of the tunnel while the band is playing the national anthem!
Creating a safe environment is the most important part of having a successful experience for your players and fans at your football games.  Meet with your administrators to review security and who will be in charge prior to each game.
When working with your students or parent volunteers it is important to have a master document that shows tasks and who is responsible for them.
In addition to running the set-up of the football games you will be given the responsibility of working with the cheer coaches to help get the crowd excited during the game.  Use these ideas to bring out the spirit in your fans!
If you have a pep assembly before your big rivalry game you can have a lot of fun reading this poem to your fans.  You can also make a funny video or just read it during the morning announcements.
